La Maison Anglaise is a much loved family house, surrounded by vineyards in one of the most beautiful villages of France's Cote de Beaune. A truly unique 17th-century stone house with modern additions, it was completely renovated in 2020 with high-quality materials and design, a brand new heated swimming pool and lovely mature garden of around 1.5
acres.

The region is famous for some of the best wines in the world as well as being a gastronomic destination. There is no shortage of wine bars (with reasonable prices) and excellent restaurants, from Michelin Stars to simple but excellent French dishes.
Meursault only a short walk away through the vines is one of the prettiest villages in the whole region. It has an excellent, Boulangerie, Butcher, Wine bar, small local supermarket, many restaurants and a small market on Friday.
Beaune is a beautiful historic city with a big vibrant food market as well as countless restaurants bars and sights. The region is not only famous for wine but also walking and cycling and there are endless routes directly from the house. Only a 5 hour drive from Calias and three hours
from Champagne (Riems) it’s the perfect stop off on route to the mountains or the South of France. There is however plenty to keep you entertained for a week or two as a holiday destination.
